Terms of Service
Last updated: May 11, 2026
1. Acceptance
By accessing or using FakeBet (the "Service", located at https://fakebet.fun) you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What FakeBet is (and isn't)
FakeBet is a simulator. Every bet on the Service is placed with virtual currency — a ranked $1,000 starter balance and a casual $10,000 starter balance. The currency has no monetary value, cannot be withdrawn, cannot be purchased, and is not redeemable for goods or services.
FakeBet is not a sportsbook. We do not accept deposits, hold funds, process withdrawals, conduct KYC, or operate any licensed gambling activity. Odds shown on the Service are sourced from third-party data providers for educational realism only and may have delays or errors.
3. Age requirement
The Service is intended for users aged 18 years or older (or the local age of majority where higher). By creating an account you represent that you meet this requirement. We may terminate any account we reasonably believe to be operated by a minor.
4. Account responsibility
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity that takes place on your account.
- One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to manipulate the leaderboard or achievements is a violation of these Terms.
- No automation, bots, scrapers, or scripted bet placement. The Service is built for human use.
- Choose a username that is not impersonating another person, brand, or public figure. We may force-rename or remove usernames we reasonably consider impersonating or offensive.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not exploit bugs (settlement gaps, double-credit scenarios, cascading void edge cases) for unfair leaderboard advantage. Report them via the feedback widget instead.
- Do not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service beyond what is necessary for interoperability permitted by law.
- Do not harass other users, post links to malicious content, or use the Service to facilitate any illegal activity.
- Do not stress-test, DoS, or load-test the Service without prior written permission. We may rate-limit, suspend, or terminate accounts that abuse infrastructure.
6. Intellectual property
The FakeBet name, branding, code, design tokens, and content (other than user-generated content) are owned by the operator and protected by copyright. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to access the Service for personal, non-commercial use.
User-generated content — namely your chosen username and (if you submit one) feedback messages — remains yours; by submitting it you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to display and process it as necessary to operate the Service.
7. Third-party content + affiliate links
Sports schedules, team names, league logos, and odds are sourced from third parties (currently The Odds API). We do not endorse any sportsbook, team, or league.
The Service contains one outbound affiliate link to Rainbet (a real, real-money sportsbook). Clicking that link is entirely optional and subject to that operator's own Terms and licensing. See our Affiliate Disclosure for the full arrangement.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the data (odds, scores, settlement outcomes) will always be accurate. Sports-data delays or third-party outages may affect the simulation.
Nothing on the Service constitutes financial, gambling, or professional advice. The Service is for entertainment only.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Because the Service is provided free of charge, our aggregate liability for any direct damages is limited to €100 or the local equivalent.
10. Responsible play
FakeBet is built precisely so the financial pain of real-money sports betting can be removed from the learning curve. If you find yourself struggling with gambling — whether on this Service or elsewhere — please reach out for free help:
- Gamblers Anonymous (international)
- BeGambleAware (UK)
- Uzależnienia behawioralne (Poland)
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion via the feedback widget. We may suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, with or without notice. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; provisions about intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability survive.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and, to the extent applicable, Poland — the operator's home jurisdiction. Any dispute that cannot be resolved through the feedback widget will be brought before the competent courts of Poland.
Consumers based in the EU retain the protections granted by their local consumer-law statutes; nothing in these Terms displaces those rights.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the Service or the law changes. Material changes will be flagged in a banner on the home page; the "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent revision. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
14. Contact
For any question about these Terms, use the feedback widget on the home page. Submissions are routed through Web3Forms to a private inbox the operator monitors.
